Ukrainian intelligence identifies 79 companies behind Su-35S production

The Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has published an interactive 3D model of the Russian multirole fighter Su-35S, as well as information on 79 enterprises involved in its production.

The Ukrainian service points out that the disclosed data covers companies from the development, manufacturing, and component supply chain for the aircraft. According to the published information, 22 out of the 79 total enterprises are not yet subject to sanctions by any country in the sanctions coalition.

What tasks does the Su-35S perform

According to Ukrainian military intelligence, Russia uses the Su-35S to provide cover for Su-34 bomber strike groups, to support ground forces, and to protect military facilities.

The aircraft are also used to intercept Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles and cruise missiles, as well as to counter the air defense systems of Ukrainian forces.

Among the revealed enterprises are manufacturers and developers of engines, fuel system components, and equipment for control, communication, and guidance. The list also includes companies linked to electronic warfare systems and aviation missiles that the Su-35S can use during the war against Ukraine.

Three companies without sanctions

Ukrainian intelligence highlights several enterprises that, according to it, are part of the Su-35S production cooperative but currently do not fall under the sanctions of coalition countries.

Among them is PJSC "Aviation Corporation "Rubin", identified as a supplier of aviation brake and non-brake wheels for aircraft.

The list also includes PJSC "Hydroautomatika", which produces AU46-05 control units. These are part of the Su-35S fighter's fuel system.

Data was also published for PJSC "Scientific Research Institute "Octava". According to the Ukrainian side, the institute conducted research and development during work on the multirole fighter.

Call for synchronized restrictions

The Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine emphasizes that coordinating sanctions against all elements of the Russian military-industrial complex is of key importance.

According to the institution, synchronized restrictive measures can limit weapons production capabilities, create prerequisites for a "just peace in Ukraine," and support the restoration of international stability.
