The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) carried out an exceptionally large-scale and effective operation, in which strategic nuclear and military transport aircraft of Russia were destroyed at their own air bases through a coordinated drone strike. According to information from sources, the attack involved 116 small strike drones, which were secretly transported to Russian territory by SBU agents. The drones were controlled through Russian telecommunication networks, with automatic targeting of the targets.
The strike on the "Olenia" air base, where the drones precisely hit the full fuel tanks of the Tu-95 missile carriers, which subsequently burned down completely, is particularly significant. A total of 41 aircraft were destroyed at four different Russian bases. The damage is estimated at billions of dollars, and Russia no longer produces some of the destroyed models. The strike capabilities of the Russian Air Force have been significantly weakened, and Moscow will be forced to allocate huge resources to guard military facilities.

Despite the strong Russian air defense, the army did not expect a daytime attack from small quadcopters, as it was preparing for night attacks with large drones. All SBU agents successfully returned to Ukraine without casualties. An operation of this scale, with such a high effect and perfect technological execution, has no analogue in the world and deserves the highest state awards.
