A strategic operation by Ukrainian special services delivered another serious blow to the enemy's military infrastructure. The joint forces of the Security Service and Special Operations Forces conducted a precise attack against a key Russian aviation facility.
The target was the Marinovka air base, located in the Volgograd region, where two multifunctional Su-34 fighter-bombers were destroyed. Additionally, two more aircraft that were actively used for combat operations along the front line were seriously damaged.
The operation was carried out using long-range unmanned aerial vehicles that precisely struck the technical and operational zone of the airport. As a result of the attack, a large-scale fire broke out, which completely disrupted the military facility's logistical readiness.
The goal of the attack was to weaken the Russian army's aviation capacity by disabling aircraft and their supporting infrastructure. Ukrainian military emphasized that such facilities in the enemy's deep rear are a completely legitimate military target.
The successful operation demonstrated the high level of coordination between different special services and their ability to deliver precise strikes on strategically important targets.
