On Thursday, June 5, 2025, 30 children from the Ukrainian Center for Shared Learning at the Center for Personal Development Support in Burgas received certificates for successfully completed Bulgarian language courses at levels A1 and A2. The program was implemented with the assistance of the local administration and UNICEF Bulgaria, in order to support the integration and adaptation of Ukrainian children who have found refuge in our country.
The courses are part of a larger initiative aimed at facilitating the social inclusion of minor refugees. They are organized by the Center for Personal Development Support in Burgas, which works in close cooperation with the Municipality of Burgas and UNICEF Bulgaria. The main goal of the program is to provide the Ukrainian children with the necessary language knowledge to successfully integrate into the Bulgarian education system and society.
