The Ukrainian air defense neutralized 63 Russian attack drones on the night of May 21.

On the night of May 21 (from 00:30 hours) the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine with 76 strike unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) - of which 22 were shot down, and another 41 are reported as "locally lost".

By 09:00 hours, air defense had neutralized a total of 63 enemy Shahed (and other types) UAVs over the eastern, northern and central parts of the country. 22 drones were shot down with fire means, and 41 were locally jammed or lost as a result of electronic warfare (with no negative consequences).

As a result of the attack by the Russian Federation, there are affected areas in the Kharkiv and Sumy regions. The air attack was repelled with the participation of the aviation, air defense missile troops, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems, as well as mobile fire groups from the defense forces of Ukraine.
