The Ukrainian army has achieved significant successes in the fight against the Russian invasion.

Kyiv, June 21, 2025 - The Armed Forces of Ukraine are reporting significant achievements in countering the Russian military aggression that began on February 24, 2022. According to the latest data from the General Staff, the total combat losses of the Russian army since the start of the conflict have exceeded 200,000 personnel.

The Ukrainian troops have managed to repel the Russian offensive and recapture significant territories, including strategically important cities such as Kherson and Mariupol. A key role in these successes was played by the effective coordination between the various military branches, supported by modern armaments provided by Ukraine's Western allies.

Despite the losses suffered, the Russian army continues to put up fierce resistance, especially in the eastern and southern regions of Ukraine.
