Nesebar Emergency Aid: Meeting and Investments

The Mayor of Nessebar Municipality, Nikolay Dimitrov, held an important working meeting with the management of the Center for Emergency Medical Assistance (CEMA) - Burgas.

The meeting was attended by the director of CEMA - Burgas, Dr. Kardjiev, and the head of the Nessebar branch, Dr. Haralampiev.

The topics discussed were of key importance to the functioning of emergency medical services in the region and focused on several important aspects.

The medical professionals expressed their gratitude for the constant financial support from the municipality. "The municipality is an extremely important partner", they emphasized, sharing that the municipal budget has provided significant funds for the purchase of vital equipment over the years. This includes an ambulance, a defibrillator, autoclaves and other medical equipment, as well as household equipment necessary for the normal functioning of the branch. The investment is essential for the quality of medical care provided to patients.

During the meeting, a decision of the Municipal Council was announced to replace the old ambulance, donated years ago, with a new one, meeting the most modern requirements and technical specifications of the Ministry of Health. This will increase the efficiency and reliability of emergency medical teams in responding to emergencies. Mayor Dimitrov added that the municipality will also assist in the purchase of a new defibrillator, emphasizing the commitment to continued support.

Regarding the location of the branch, the mayor clarified that for now it will remain in the building of the polyclinic in Sunny Beach. This is due to upcoming finishing works in the premises in the Health House - Nessebar, a procedure managed by the Ministry of Health. Nessebar Municipality will assist in the smooth conduct of this process.
