Urgent Repair of the Corner's Fence opposite the Clock in Burgas

Burgas Municipality has undertaken urgent repairs to the fence of the iconic Corner opposite the Clock. The necessary repairs come after the structure, subjected to the pressure of self-grown shrubs and trees, began to show signs of damage. Because of the created situation, the base of the fence had given way, which raised serious concerns about the safety of those passing along the busy “Bogoridi” street.

The air in the area around the site is filled with the noise of construction activity. Workers are busy dismantling the old elements, while the clatter of heavy machinery can be heard in the distance.

According to sources from the municipality, the planned repair is ambitious and includes a complete renovation of the structure. It is planned to build a new, strong foundation to ensure the stability of the fence for years to come. After the completion of the main work, glass showcases will again be mounted on top of the new foundation. These showcases have an important function in the urban environment, as they serve to organize outdoor exhibitions, providing an opportunity for residents and guests of the city to enjoy art and culture.

The last exhibition that found its place in the showcases was dedicated to the famous Burgas residents, paying tribute to the prominent figures who have left a lasting mark on the history and development of the city.

After the completion of the repair work, a new exhibition is expected to be arranged in the showcases, which will be thematically related to the upcoming holidays. In addition to repairing the fence itself, the municipality also plans to thoroughly clean the area behind it, which will improve the overall appearance of the zone and create a more pleasant environment for everyone.
