The caretaker government has adopted a decision to introduce a temporary program for compensating households due to increased fuel prices. This was announced by the caretaker ministers of labor and social policy and of finance.
Amount of assistance: 20 euros monthly to cover transportation costs.
Eligibility criteria:
- Average monthly gross income up to 652.41 euros (2 times the poverty line for 2025) OR
- Average monthly gross income up to 537.88 euros (for 2024)
- Ownership, co-ownership, or leasing of a motor vehicle
Conditions for activation of the measure: The average retail price of gasoline A95 or diesel above 1.60 euros per liter for 3 consecutive days (according to the National Revenue Agency).
Payment method: Through the Social Assistance Agency. Citizens who already receive social benefits will not submit additional applications. Others will apply online or at the agency's offices.
Period of validity: Until June 30, 2026.
Coverage: About 1.38 million people.
Price monitoring: Through data from cash register receipts, received in real time by the National Revenue Agency.

Ааа, хора, супер новина!!! Накрая правителството се сети за нас обикновените хора! Да, 20 евро са малко – ама хеей, поне нещо! По-добре от нищо, нали? Че то май скоро ще трябва да ходим пеша, ако не направят нещо. 😂
Абе, пичове, да го кажем честно - 20 евро са смехотворно малко, ама поне е знак, че някой се опитва да направи нещо. Нека да не си дерем козирката за едно-две кинта, важното е да покажем, че ЕС и България все пак се грижат за хората, особено в тая ситуация с цените на горивата.
