The installation of rumble strips is starting on road I-5 Dimitrovgrad - Haskovo to increase road safety. Activities to improve the safety of road II-76 in the area of the village of Knyazhevo are also planned. The Road Infrastructure Agency calls on drivers to obey road signs and drive carefully.

On June 9, 2025, at 4:30 pm, the installation of noisy markings began at the 285th kilometer of road I-5 Dimitrovgrad - Haskovo, in the section at the intersection for the Yazaki factory. The goal is to increase traffic safety on this first-class road. In the following days, similar markings will be laid on the 2nd kilometer of road II-76, in the area of the village of Knyazhevo. Both sections are included in the Plan for Securing Sections with a Concentration of Road Accidents in Haskovo Region.

The "Road Infrastructure" Agency calls on drivers to strictly follow the placed road signs and drive carefully, maintaining a safe distance, driving at an adjusted speed, and not undertaking risky overtaking. On the agency's website - www.api.bg, a map of the sections with a concentration of road accidents, as well as an Action Plan for securing these sections, have been published. The information is available in the specially created section "Road Sections with Increased Risk" so that citizens can easily familiarize themselves with the data and track the implementation of the measures.
