The Shumen Industrial Park - a key project for the development of the region

The official opening of the construction activities for the new roundabout at the Shumen Industrial Park on road I-2 was attended by the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works, the Mayor of Shumen, the Deputy Minister of Innovation and Growth, as well as the Executive Director of "Shumen Industrial Park" AD. The Minister emphasized that the investment is a good sign of the partnership between the state, business, and local authorities, and that the funds from the Recovery and Resilience Plan will remain in Bulgaria.

The Regional Minister expressed confidence that Shumen will establish itself as a major industrial center in Northern Bulgaria, as the attracted investments and jobs are unparalleled in the region. Mayor Hristo Hristov and Deputy Minister Krasimir Yakimov also participated in the event, along with Nikolay Tonchev, Executive Director of "Shumen Industrial Park" AD.

According to the Minister, thanks to the industrial park project, not only the industry in the region, but also the entire city of Shumen, which is the workplace for thousands of residents, have undergone significant positive changes. The production manufactured in the park is mainly for export to the European Union, which is a sign that Bulgaria's future is in Europe.
