Expert analyses reveal a potential military threat on the southern front, after significant movements of Russian military formations were registered. Petro Andriushchenko reported an unprecedented concentration of armored units along the Rostov - Novoazovsk - Mariupol route.
Intelligence data confirms the transportation of about 7 platforms loaded with armored vehicles, including tanks, as well as more than 40 vehicles carrying personnel and ammunition. In parallel, another military column, consisting of over 20 trucks and at least 5 heavy-duty tractors with combat vehicles, is moving through the occupied Crimea and Kherson region.
Andriushchenko's strategic assessment warns of a likely offensive in the areas around Hulyaipole and Orehov. The movement of military formations is seen as a clear indicator of a reorientation of the Russian offensive strategy towards Zaporizhzhia.
Ukrainian defense forces are taking immediate counter-measures. The armed forces are intensifying surveillance along critical transport corridors, including the Mariupol–Pology and Crimea–Mariupol routes. An additional warning intelligence system has been activated, and air defense has been reinforced.
Experts define the current situation as extremely tense. The concentration of military equipment and personnel unambiguously signals preparation for a large-scale offensive. The Ukrainian side requires maximum combat readiness, quick strategic decisions, and continuous coordination with international partners.
Military analysts emphasize that any delay or underestimation of the threat may have serious consequences. The next few days will be critical in determining the direction of military actions in the region.
