The Russian military operation in Ukraine has led to new tragic consequences for the civilian population. A drone attack in the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district of Ukraine affected a medical outpatient clinic serving three villages with around 2,500 residents, including representatives of the Bulgarian diaspora in the region. The healthcare facility is no longer in operation, but the authorities are taking urgent measures to restore medical services to the affected population.
The old outpatient clinic in the village of Vyshcheve, which was in operation until 2019, will be temporarily restored. Additionally, medical assistance is planned to be provided through local paramedic-midwife stations. The jobs of the doctors and nurses from the destroyed outpatient clinic will be preserved.
