From June 24 to 26, repair work will be carried out on various sections of the Trakia Motorway in the regions of Sofia, Pazardzhik, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora and Yambol. Traffic will be restricted and rerouted, and for the safety of travelers, careful driving and compliance with the restrictions are appealed for.

From tomorrow, June 24, until June 26, the organization of traffic will change in sections of the "Trakiya" motorway in five regions - Sofia, Pazardzhik, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora and Yambol. Repair activities and current maintenance of the sections require temporary restrictions and rerouting of traffic.

In the Sofia region, repairs will be carried out at km 0 of the motorway in the lane towards Burgas. On June 25, Wednesday, between 8 and 17 hours, passage will be restricted in the emergency and one active lane, with traffic passing in the overtaking and middle active lane. Vehicles traveling from the village of Lozen towards Burgas will be rerouted.

On June 24, tomorrow, from 5 to 10:30 am, traffic in the section from km 99 to 106 in the lane towards Burgas will only be carried out in the active lane for mowing vegetation. The same day, between 10:30 and 12:30, the overtaking lane towards Sofia between km 78 and 80 will be closed, again for mowing the section in the Pazardzhik region.

In the Plovdiv region, repair work will be carried out from 9 am on June 24 to 9 am on June 26, Thursday. Passage will be restricted in the emergency and active lane of the "Trakiya" motorway from km 127 to 130 in the lane towards Sofia. Two lanes will be designated for travelers to Sofia and Burgas, with two lanes in the lane towards Burgas for travelers to the sea and one in the direction of Sofia.

In the Stara Zagora region, on June 24 from 8 to 21 hours, traffic will be restricted in the active and emergency lanes at km 161 of the motorway towards Sofia, with traffic passing in the overtaking lane. On June 25, from 8 to 21 hours, traffic in the section from km 162 to 164 in the lane towards Burgas will take place in the overtaking lane. On June 26, from 8 to 21 hours, passage in the section from km 165 to 168 towards Burgas will be in the overtaking lane, with the active and emergency lanes closed for repair.

In the Yambol region, on June 24, Tuesday, from 7 to 19 hours, traffic will be restricted on the active and emergency lane at km 286, towards Burgas, for the restoration of the asphalt pavement. Traffic will pass in the overtaking lane.

The Road Infrastructure Agency apologizes to the drivers for the inconvenience caused, but the repair work is necessary to ensure safety. The appeal to drivers is to drive carefully, to follow the rules and restrictions, not to use the emergency lanes for faster movement, so as not to obstruct the passage of vehicles with a special regime in case of incidents.
