Repair activities on a key Sofia node are restricting traffic in June.

The upcoming road repairs at the "Botevgradsko Shosse" road junction in Sofia will require a gradual restriction of traffic in the period June 16-28. The restrictions will affect two sections of the junction, connecting the Sofia Ring Road (SRR) and the Northern Speed Tangent (NST).

From 9 a.m. on June 16 to 5 p.m. on June 21, the two outer active lanes of the right lane on the section from the road link to the SRR from Botevgradsko Shosse Boulevard to the road link for entering the SRR towards Botevgradsko Shosse Boulevard will be restricted. From 9 a.m. on June 17 to 5 p.m. on June 28, the two outer active lanes of the right lane on the section between the road link from the SRR to Botevgradsko Shosse Boulevard and the link to the NST will be restricted.

Traffic will be regulated by signalmen and road signs. The Road Infrastructure Agency urges drivers to be careful, strictly follow the signage, maintain distance, and do not undertake risky overtaking.
