Drivers traveling on the Struma highway towards Sofia must be extremely cautious during the first days of July. Planned repair work will affect two critical sections in the Kyustendil area, which requires special safety measures.
On July 2, interventions will be carried out between 9:00 AM and 8:00 PM at the 41st kilometer point. Traffic will be redirected to the active and passing lanes, with access to the emergency lane being restricted. Drivers should exercise extreme caution and follow the introduced temporary organizational schemes.
Subsequent activities are planned for July 3 and 4 at the 39th kilometer point. From 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM on July 3 and the following day, warranty repairs of the joints will be carried out. Again, the passing and main lanes will be active, with the emergency lane remaining closed.
