Repair activities on the Struma Motorway require careful driving.

Repair work on the asphalt surface at the 3rd kilometer of the "Struma" motorway in the direction of Blagoevgrad, Sofia region, continues. At the moment, traffic in the section is only taking place in the overtaking lane, as the active and emergency lanes are closed to traffic. The repair work in the 1-kilometer section started on June 9 and is expected to be completed by 9 am on June 14.

The Road Infrastructure Agency (RIA) apologizes to drivers for the inconvenience caused, but emphasizes that these activities are necessary to ensure traffic safety and improve travel comfort. RIA calls on drivers to follow the traffic rules, not to exceed the speed limit, and not to take risky overtaking maneuvers that endanger the safety of all road users.
