Main repairs on three roads in the Burgas area are due to finish by the end of 2026, but only if the weather is dry and fit for work, the Burgas regional administration says.

The roads are III-992 between the villages of Rosen and Yasna Polyana, III-9009 from Novo Panicharevo to Yasna Polyana, and I-906 between Dyulino and Gyulyovtsa.

An inter-agency commission checked the sites with the contractors and supervisors. It is led by Veselin Anestiev, deputy governor of Burgas region. Its other members include Yana Mihaylova, head of the Burgas regional roads directorate, and engineer Hristo Gyurov, head of the "IRD" department at the directorate.

Construction, finishing work and landslide stabilisation continue on all the roads checked. Temporary traffic arrangements are in place on the sections under repair, and traffic is hampered.
