Repair of 18.5 km of first-class road I-4 between Targovishte and Buhovtsi

The "Road Infrastructure" Agency announced the start of preventive repair of 18.5 km of first-class road I-4 between Targovishte and Buhovtsi, in the section from the 223rd to the 241st kilometer. The repaired section coincides with part of the ring road of Targovishte and passes through the populated areas of Razboyna and Probuda.

The construction and installation works will be carried out on half of the road surface, without interrupting the traffic. The sections where work is being carried out will be marked with the necessary road signs. The work will be carried out only during daylight hours, from 8 to 17 o'clock, after which the traffic will be restored throughout the roadway. Drivers are urged to drive carefully, at an appropriate speed, and to observe the road signs.

The repair activities will be carried out in two stages. The first will be completed by the end of October this year, and the second will take place during the period April-June 2026.

The "Road Infrastructure" Agency apologizes to the drivers for the inconvenience caused, but emphasizes that the repair is necessary to ensure the safety of traffic on this section.
