The Minister of Regional Development and Public Works, Ivan Ivanov, held a working meeting today with the President of the European Committee of the Regions, Cata Tütő. The two discussed the country's work on the EU Cohesion Fund, which is being implemented in our country through programs managed by the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works.
Minister Ivanov pointed out that Bulgaria's expectation is for this fund to continue to function in its current form and he hopes that our country will receive support for this from other EU member states as well. He recalled that this was also stated in a declaration adopted by the ministers responsible for cohesion policy during a ministerial meeting last month in Warsaw.
