The team of the project "FUMI in Bulgaria", implemented by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and the Center for Entrepreneurship and Management Development (CEED Bulgaria), held a regular meeting to discuss the progress of the survey on the attitudes of employers in the country towards hiring foreigners. The survey, conducted by BCCI in April-May 2025, covered 84 respondents.
The team is expected to prepare an analysis of the results, which will be presented at a national event on the project on September 25, 2025 in Sofia. The forum will bring together representatives of state and local authorities, international organizations, non-governmental organizations, academic circles, industry organizations and employers. The aim is to exchange ideas and experience, as well as to establish a constructive dialogue on issues related to legal migration and integration in Bulgaria.
The partners in the "FUMI in Bulgaria" project have also agreed to hold working meetings with organizations that will assist in the implementation of the project activities. The survey is expected to reveal detailed information on the attitudes of employers, their expectations, needs, challenges and advantages in hiring citizens from third countries.
