Pomorie: Eco-campaign for Waste Collection

Pomorie Municipality is organizing a large-scale ecological initiative for waste collection.

From October 16 to 23, 2025, Pomorie Municipality will conduct a campaign for the free collection of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), batteries, accumulators, as well as bulky household waste. This extensively planned action covers the territory of Pomorie, Aheloy and Kableshkovo, aiming to stimulate responsible attitude towards the environment and reduce the amount of landfill waste. The initiative is aimed at citizens, as well as legal entities, organizations and institutions in the three cities.

Citizens and organizations wishing to participate in the ecological campaign must submit an application to the specially announced telephone numbers. After confirmation of the application, Pomorie Municipality will provide free transport for the removal of waste. To facilitate the process, the waste must be placed in a suitable place in front of the address specified in the application.

The collection schedule is structured by cities and types of waste to optimize logistics.

• Pomorie: WEEE, batteries, accumulators - October 18 (9:00 - 14:00); Bulky household waste - October 19
• Kableshkovo: WEEE, batteries, accumulators - October 17; Bulky household waste - October 22
• Aheloy: WEEE, batteries, accumulators - October 16; Bulky household waste - October 23

The organized transport is a key element of the initiative, ensuring smooth and efficient collection of waste from homes and organizations.

The goal of this initiative is clear: reducing pollution, saving resources and creating a cleaner environment for present and future generations. Its success depends on the active participation of all residents and organizations in Pomorie, Aheloy and Kableshkovo. "We hope many people will participate".
