Sea Bed Cleanup in Burgas: Divers Submerge Near the Pier

Burgas is once again becoming a center for a noble cause, gathering volunteers from all over the country for another large-scale seabed cleanup. Divers and enthusiasts will join forces to free the waters around the Pier—one of the city's emblematic spots—from accumulated waste.

A Traditional Initiative to Preserve the Marine Ecosystem

The initiative, which has become a tradition for the seaside city, is organized annually by the Non-Profit Association "Friends of the Sea - Burgas". It is part of the efforts to preserve the marine ecosystem and increase public responsibility towards nature.

This year's event will take place on Saturday, September 13, 2025, with the start scheduled for 10:30 AM. Participants will enter the water directly from the beach in front of the Pier, where they will later bring up the collected waste.
