The head of the Burgas hospital passed away - a mournful loss for the region

On July 1, 2025, the medical community in Burgas suffered a heavy loss - the distinguished doctor and manager Assoc. Prof. Dr. Boyko Mirazchiyski, who led the local university hospital, passed away.

Mayor Dimitar Nikolov publicly expressed deep sorrow for the loss. In an emotional statement, he emphasized the professional and human qualities of the deceased director, describing him as an exceptional friend and respected specialist.

"We have gone through many challenges together, always treating each other with mutual respect," shares the mayor. He highlights that Dr. Mirazchiyski's death is an enormous loss not only for his family but for the entire Burgas community.

Nikolov extended official condolences to relatives, loved ones, colleagues, and everyone who knew and worked with the distinguished doctor, defining him as an irreplaceable professional.
