On Sunday, Burgas was presented in a different way to residents and guests of the city – through three walking tours. They were organized for the third consecutive year by students specializing in “Tour Guide Services” at the Secondary School “Bishop Konstantin Preslavski” together with their teacher of theory and practice, Nikolina Dimitrova. The event was open to all residents and guests of Burgas and was completely free. It was also part of the attractive program for St. Nicholas Day. 

Despite the rainy day, the event gathered many people who wanted to learn more about the seaside city. The first two groups set off on a route from the Clock – the Compass - the Cathedral Church “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” - the Ethnographic Museum. Partners of the walking tour were also RIM-Burgas. 

The third walking tour covered the Mushroom - the Pushkin monument in the Sea Garden - the Cultural Center “Sea Casino” - the Lighthouse Keeper's Tower. It was directed towards perspectives for the development of the city thanks to the Black Sea. The tour was a unique look at the future and the candidacy of Burgas for European Capital of Culture 2032.

The students enthusiastically showed their knowledge and are already starting preparations for the next walking tour, which will be held in May 2026.
