During the meeting, the Deputy Chairman of BCCI, Vasil Todorov, emphasized the importance of good cooperation with the Peruvian embassy. He pointed out that BCCI successfully organizes various business events with the support of diplomatic missions, such as presentations, business delegations, and bilateral forums.
The guest was also informed about BCCI's membership in international organizations such as the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris, the World Trade Centers Association, Eurochambres, and the Business Council of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation. Through these memberships, the Chamber provides its members with a wide range of business services.
In turn, Ambassador Arsiniego briefly presented the economic advantages of Peru. The country is a significant exporter of non-ferrous metals, such as copper, for about $300 million annually. At the same time, there is potential for the development of business projects in the agricultural sector.

It was agreed that BCCI, together with the team of the Peruvian embassy, will organize an online meeting where experts from Peru will present to Bulgarian entrepreneurs the opportunities and advantages for investments in the country, with a focus on the agriculture sector and the production of superfoods such as coffee, organic cocoa, asparagus, and mango.
