A beautifully painted pipe, created by young people with disabilities, arrives in Burgas as part of a traveling art installation that carries messages of inclusion, solidarity, and the protection of water resources. The installation is linked to a large-scale project for the reconstruction of the water supply and sewerage infrastructure in the region, aimed at improving the quality of drinking and wastewater.

On June 4, 2025, a beautifully painted pipe, part of a traveling art installation that passed through European rivers from France to Bulgaria, was installed in the Sea Garden of Burgas. The project is an initiative of Saint-Gobain PAM and the Medical and Educational Institute of Pont-à-Mousson, France (IME), where young people with physical and mental disabilities, with the support of professional artists, transformed the pipe material into a work of street art. This inspiring art installation is in the context of the large-scale "Integrated Water Project for the Burgas Region" implemented by Vodosnabjdavane i kanalizatsia EAD - Burgas. The project provides for the reconstruction and construction of water supply and sewerage infrastructure in 13 settlements, in order to achieve compliance with European legislation, improve the quality of drinking and waste water, and ensure long-term sustainability of the sector. The symbolic arrival of the art installation in Burgas combines the idea of engineering progress with humanity, creativity, and solidarity - in a European path of water, art, and social engagement.
