Tomorrow, on June 20, from 9 am until June 22, Sunday, 9 am, repair work will be carried out on the pavement of the Trakia Motorway in the section between kilometer 130 and kilometer 134 in the direction of Burgas, in the Plovdiv region. During the repairs, the passage in the active and emergency lanes in this section will be restricted. Two lanes will be allocated for travelers to Sofia and Burgas, with two lanes for travel towards the capital and one lane towards Burgas on the Sofia side, and only one lane for travel towards the sea on the Burgas side. In both directions, the passage of heavy vehicles will be restricted, with only passenger cars allowed to move.
From June 22, Sunday, 9 am, to June 24, Tuesday, the pavement in the section between kilometer 127 and kilometer 130 of the Trakia Motorway in the direction of Sofia will be repaired. In this case, too, two lanes will be allocated for travelers to Sofia and Burgas, with two lanes for travel towards the sea and one lane towards Sofia on the Burgas side, and only one lane for travel towards the capital on the Sofia side. The passage of heavy vehicles will again be restricted in the left lanes of the two directions, where only passenger cars will be allowed to move.
The Road Infrastructure Agency calls on drivers to follow the traffic rules, not to undertake risky overtakings, and not to use the emergency lanes for faster movement in heavy traffic, as this hinders the passage of vehicles with a special driving regime in case of an incident.
