Parking in Pomorie: New Regulation No. 23 on Paid Parking

Regulation No. 23, regulating the conditions and procedures for paid and free parking of vehicles on the territory of the city, has come into force in Pomorie. The decision was made by the Municipal Council - Pomorie.

A new possibility introduced in the regulation is the introduction of subscription-based paid parking for cars on the territory of the parking lots in the city. This regime is open to all citizens of Pomorie, as well as for the personal cars of employees of the municipal administration, municipal enterprises, and municipal councilors. The right to paid parking of vehicles in parking lots - municipal property, allows the submission of an application for up to two cars, and for each of them, it is necessary to submit a separate application, according to Appendix No. 7 to the Regulation.

This subscription-based parking regime is valid in the period from 01.10 to 31.05. It is important to note that this does not apply to MBAL Parking and "Ribarsko Pristanishte - Pomorie" Parking. The parking lots on the territory of the city have a paid parking regime all year round.

The present regulation also defines other key points.

The parking regime in the so-called "Short-term paid parking zone" (or "blue zone") is active every day in the period from 16.05. to 30.09. from 08:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. In the period from 01.10. to 15.05., the regime covers the hours from 08:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the exceptions of Saturday and Sunday, as well as the official national holidays announced by a normative act.

For the use of the local paid parking regime of vehicles by residents in the "Short-term paid parking zone" all year round, an application (Appendix No. 4 to the Regulation) is submitted to the Director of the Municipal Enterprise "Management and Management of Municipal Properties_, accompanied by the necessary set of documents. This regime is valid all year round, with the minimum period for which it can be used being one month.

For the use of the preferential paid parking regime of vehicles by residents outside the "Short-term paid parking zone", it is necessary to submit an Application (Appendix No. 5 to the Regulation) to the Director of the Municipal Enterprise "Management and Management of Municipal Properties" within certain deadlines. These deadlines are: from 01.10. to 31.10. of each calendar year for residents of the "St. George" quarter (and it is important to note that those who have submitted applications before this period, do not need to submit new ones - their applications remain valid). For residents of the "Svoboda" quarter, the deadline is from 01.02. to 28.02./29.02. of each calendar year. For residents of the central city part, the deadline is from 01.03. to 31.03. of each calendar year. This regime is valid for a period of twelve months.

Persons who do not own a garage are given priority in the allocation of a parking space.

The applications can be submitted to the registry office of the Municipal Enterprise "Management and Management of Municipal Properties_q_ or by e-mail - [email protected], accompanied by the necessary documents.

All fees related to parking are determined and paid according to Regulation No. 11 for the determination and administration of local fees and prices for services and rights on the territory of Pomorie Municipality, Section IX.
