Tomorrow, October 9th, drivers on Trakia motorway in the direction of Burgas should be cautious. Traffic restrictions on two sections between the 307th and 308th km. Traffic jams are expected.

Tomorrow, October 9, from 7:00 to 18:00, drivers traveling on the "Trakia" motorway towards Burgas will need to be especially careful.

In two sections, located between the 307th and 308th kilometer, with a total length of 410 meters, traffic will be restricted. The repair works will be the reason for redirecting traffic in the overtaking lane. The atmosphere around these places seems to be tense, with expected traffic jams, especially during peak hours.

The work on these sections, located in the Yambol region, envisages a phased restriction of traffic in the active and emergency lanes. Specialists emphasize that the repair will be carried out only under suitable meteorological conditions, which implies a certain dependence on the whims of the weather.

We remind you that since September 25, ongoing repairs have been underway on a nearly 200-meter section of the "Zimnitsa" road junction. This junction connects the first-class road I-7 Yambol - Border Checkpoint "Lesovo" with the "Trakia" motorway.

This section, again on the territory of the Yambol region, is part of the direct route of road I-7, located at the 246th kilometer, where the road junction crossing the motorway is also located.

At the moment, traffic in the lane towards the motorway is completely restricted. At the scene of the incident, there is increased tension, while traffic passes in the lane for Yambol, with a speed limit of 60 km/h. It is important to note that there are no restrictions when passing on the direct route of the "Trakia" motorway.

The construction and installation works are expected to be completed by October 12 this year.

The "Road Infrastructure" Agency apologizes to drivers for the inconvenience caused, but emphasizes that these activities are necessary to ensure traffic safety. The appeal to drivers is to be careful, to comply with traffic rules and the speed limit. It is especially reminded to avoid risky overtaking, which endangers the safety of all road users.

To be informed about the current road situation, citizens and transport companies can use the website of API – www.api.bg, as well as contact them at any time of the day or night on the phone 0700 130 20.
