OFK „Pomorie“ secured a 4:1 home victory against OFK „Karnobat“ in the match that kicked off the Men's "A" Regional Group championship on 19.09.2026. The visitors arrived in Pomorie as recent former members of the third league.

From the very first minutes, the "Seagulls" established complete dominance on the pitch. Their lineup included two new signings from Burgas – goalkeeper Kenny Bozukov and striker Georgi Stanchev. Despite this, the visitors took the lead in the 5th minute following a swift counterattack.

The hosts were undeterred by the early goal and continued to press their opponents. In the 29th minute, Georgi Stolev scored to make it 1:1, sending both teams into the dressing rooms level.

After the break, the Pomorie side resumed play with total pressure on the opposing goal, quickly turning the match around. In the 47th minute, Stefan Stamatov received the ball in the penalty area, controlled it, turned, and fired it into the far corner. The team continued to hunt for more goals, and in the 69th minute, new signing Georgi Stanchev made it 3:1. Before the end of the match, the referee awarded a penalty to the hosts, which Zhivko Iliev converted to finalize the score at 4:1.

OFK „Pomorie's" away match against FK „Burgas Sport" in the next round has been postponed. Consequently, the Pomorie team will play at home again – against FK „Bulgarovo" on 03.10.2026 at 16:00.
