The Municipality of Nessebar continues to invest in improving the material base of schools in the villages on its territory. The construction of new gyms is planned for the schools in the villages of Gyulyovtsa and Orizare, which until now did not have indoor sports halls for the winter months. The new extensions will be a warm connection to the main buildings and will meet all standards for Bulgarian schools.
These investments are part of the broader efforts of the local authorities to turn the schools in the villages into an attractive alternative for parents. The largest school in the region, SU "Lyuben Karavelov" in Nessebar, is expected to welcome more first-graders than its capacity for the upcoming school year. Therefore, the municipality is working hard to create the best possible learning conditions in the main schools in the populated areas.

"In all educational institutions on the territory of the municipality, work is carried out according to the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Science. Many of them are already attracting students from neighboring settlements - examples are the schools in Sveti Vlas, Ravda and Kosharitsa. Our educational institutions have a modern base, which we are constantly developing. We want each of them to be a place where parents can safely leave their children, confident that they will receive a quality education," said the Mayor of Nessebar Municipality, Nikolay Dimitrov.
