The Municipality of Nessebar is investing in the modernization of the street network in the resort settlements.

The mayor of the municipality of Nessebar, Nikolay Dimitrov, and the mayor of the town of Obzor, Hristo Yanev, inspected the finishing repair work on the main street "Otets Paisiy" in Obzor. The road artery with four lanes for two-way traffic has undergone expansion and complete renovation - new sidewalks have been built, parking spaces have been formed, and the roadway has been re-asphalted. Horizontal marking and replacement of vertical signage are to follow.

The Municipality of Nessebar applies a new, more extensive approach to the maintenance of the street network in populated areas, with a particular focus on resort settlements. Significant reconstructions are planned and implemented here in order to create modern conditions for movement and expand parking spaces.

According to Mayor Dimitrov, street construction and maintenance of municipal infrastructure require significant financial resources, which the Municipality of Nessebar allocates annually for the renovation and modernization of the street network in all populated areas. The effects are both practical - safer traffic and more parking spaces, as well as aesthetic - smooth streets and maintained roadside areas.

Mayor Dimitrov stressed that a resort town like Obzor should be a model for the maintenance of municipal infrastructure. Here, the work is carried out systematically and rhythmically - the city center and the coastal alley have been completely renovated, the amphitheater, streets, park areas, and gardens are maintained.

Through the implementation of infrastructure projects in Obzor, the Municipality of Nessebar aims to meet the modern requirements of tourism and offer an attractive, convenient, and welcoming environment for residents and guests. The goal is to attract even greater interest in the city and the region through this sustainable transformation.
