The Municipality of Burgas Reveals the Illegal Status of "The Mushroom" and the Unchanged Order for Demolition

The Municipality of Burgas categorically refutes the information that the order to remove the illegal object, known as the "Mushroom", has been revoked. The object of the complainant is illegal, and the order of the Deputy Mayor for its removal remains in force.

The Municipality condemns the dissemination of court acts through unofficial channels, such as Viber and social networks, before they are duly served to the parties. This, according to the Municipality, creates the possibility of misleading the public and calls into question the objectivity of the publisher.

It is recalled that the territory where the "Mushroom" is located is public state property - a cultural monument, provided to the Municipality for management and administration. Therefore, private individuals and companies do not have the right to carry out illegal constructions in this area without a permit issued.

The Municipality of Burgas declares that it will continue to follow the legal procedures in order to clarify the facts and the objective truth, relying on the relevant competent authorities for assistance.
