The educational initiative "Vacation, hello! Let's play safely!" gathered students in Burgas.

On May 20, 2025, over 150 students from four schools in Burgas gathered at the sports field of the "Arena ODK" Park to participate in the traditional educational initiative "Vacation, hello! Let's play safely!". Organized by the Local Commission for Combating Juvenile Delinquency and the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior - Burgas, the event aims to teach children teamwork and attentiveness during games during the summer vacation.

The participants, representing "Bishop Konstantin Preslavski" Secondary School, "Konstantin Petkanov" Secondary School, "Kliment Ohridski" Secondary School - "Rudnik" district, and "Hristo Botev" Primary School, did not compete against each other, but were divided into mixed teams to demonstrate the benefits of teamwork. A special guest at the event was the Director of the Education and Youth Policies Directorate at the Municipality of Burgas, Ms. Katya Misheva, who greeted the children on behalf of Mayor Dimitar Nikolov and urged them to be careful during the vacation. Commissioner Marin Dimitrov, Head of the Public Order Police Department, was also present and reminded the participants to be cautious during their favorite season.

This year, the students received a special code from each game, which allowed them to unlock the padlocks on the treasure chest. By working as a team, they were able to reach the big surprise. The entire competition took place in an atmosphere of fun games, lots of laughter, and well-deserved prizes.
