The Deputy Minister of Innovation and Growth, Professor Georgi Angelov, emphasized the importance of Bulgarian projects participating in the DIANA program, which covers an extensive market within NATO. The interaction of DIANA with the NATO Innovation Fund, which provides funding for the expansion of approved solutions, is key.
At the information day in Sofia, the program manager Emma Ryan presented 10 new areas focused on dual-use innovations in fields such as energy, communications, biotechnology, logistics, and space operations. Approved candidates will receive up to 100,000 euros to improve their solutions and access a network of test centers in Europe and North America.
