New Collective Labour Agreement for Culture and Tourism in Burgas

Mayor Dimitar Nikolov and representatives of the "Culture" branch of the "Support" Confederation of Labor and the CITUB signed the new collective labor agreement. The event marks a significant change in working conditions for employees engaged in the field of culture and tourism in Burgas Municipality. The agreement covers both municipal enterprises and municipal and state cultural institutions, providing a unified framework for the rights and obligations of those employed in this key sector.

The atmosphere of the ceremony was filled with optimism, the feeling of a long-awaited achievement. The negotiations preceding the signing were intensive, but the result is visible. A number of improvements have been agreed upon, which are expected to have a tangible impact on the well-being of the workers.

The main focus of the new agreement is the improvement of working conditions for employees. One of the key improvements is the increase in funds allocated for work clothes. This is important as it provides employees with the necessary funds for the maintenance and renewal of their work equipment. In addition, an increase in cash incentives, which are provided for important national holidays, has been agreed. These are May 24, the Day of Slavic Literacy and Culture, and November 1, the Day of the National Awakeners.

The signing of this collective labor agreement is an important event, which demonstrates the commitment of the local authorities to improving working conditions and the recognition of the significance of the cultural sector. The new collective labor agreement enters into force immediately, from the date of signing. The agreement is for a period of two years, which ensures stability and predictability for those working in the field of culture and tourism in Burgas.
