Nikulden in Burgas: Festive Program for December 6th (2025)

Burgas Municipality invites the residents and guests of the city to join the many interesting events dedicated to St. Nicholas Day, which will traditionally be celebrated on December 6th with a rich cultural, sports, musical and festive program.

The festive day, which will be held under the motto: “Everyone celebrates Burgas”, begins at 08:30 with a solemn liturgy in the church “St. Nicholas the Miracle Worker” in the residential complex “Meden Rudnik”. The morning will continue with awakening swimming in the cold waters to the Bridge and training with Yordan Yovchev. Rituals of honoring, a solemn meeting of the Municipal Council and the raising of flags are planned.

From 11:00, the consecration of the St. Nicholas Day ritual table and the distribution of fish kurbaan begins at different locations in the city. There will be demonstrations of retro diving near the Bridge, and at 11:15 a procession will begin. Two live podcasts are planned during the day. There will be a Golden photo of the name days and a concert “Like two drops... Vlado”. A meeting with Slavi Panayotov – The Clasher will be held, and in the Society of Artists there will be a traditional exhibition and awards. The culmination of the holiday will be a festive St. Nicholas Day concert in „Troykata” square.
