The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organizing a large-scale national event dedicated to migration policy and attracting qualified workforce from third countries in the context of European economic challenges.

The upcoming national roundtable for the project "Functionally Sustainable Migration and Integration in Bulgaria" will be held on September 25, 2025, at Grand Hotel Sofia. The forum will bring together experts from various professional fields to discuss migration policies and labor integration opportunities.

Statistical data from 2022 shows a serious imbalance in the European labor market - 4.5 million citizens from non-EU countries are already working in the union. This fact underscores the growing need for a targeted migration strategy.

The main goal of the project is to present specific actions to promote legal migration through information channels and platforms. Special focus will be placed on cooperation with countries such as Moldova, Albania, Ukraine, Armenia, and Vietnam.

Participants are expected to include representatives from state administration, local authorities, international organizations, non-governmental associations, academic circles, and industry employer organizations. They will discuss opportunities for attracting qualified workforce and creating sustainable mechanisms for economic development.

During the forum, the first results of the project will be presented, with an emphasis on practical solutions for overcoming labor market challenges. Participants will have the opportunity to share expert opinions and propose innovative approaches to migration integration.

To participate in the event, interested parties must complete a special registration form, which will be available through the official communication channels of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The project sets the ambitious task of creating a long-term strategy for attracting foreign talents who will contribute to the economic competitiveness of Bulgaria and the European Union.

The event will be held in a hybrid format - in-person and online, which will ensure maximum accessibility and participation of experts from different regions.
