A senior alliance representative reveals unprecedented figures for human losses of the Russian army, confirming over a million casualties and 250 thousand killed servicemen.

A confidential source from the North Atlantic Alliance revealed extremely alarming statistical data regarding the military losses of the Russian Federation during the conflict in Ukraine. During a briefing with international journalists, the expert shared extremely worrying intelligence data.

According to official information, Russian military are suffering unprecedented defeats - the average daily loss amounts to about 1,300 people. Allied intelligence confirms the calculations of the Ukrainian armed forces that total losses have exceeded one million people, with approximately 250,000 killed in combat.

The military analyst shared details about the situation in Sumy Oblast, where Russian troops are trying to create a buffer zone after the large-scale Kursk operation. Regardless of tactical movements, offensive actions are extremely exhausting for the Russian army.

Strategic attempts to encircle the city of Sumy currently seem practically impossible. The Russian military leadership plans to bypass the city, expanding the front line to the north and northeast, but previous attempts have been unsuccessful.

The NATO representative emphasized that despite constant attempts to advance in Sumy Oblast and eastern regions of Ukraine, the front line has not undergone significant changes in the last two months.
