The Ministry of Innovation invests over 194 million leva in nearly 2000 family and creative companies.

The State Agency for Innovation and Development (SARD) provided over 76 million BGN in additional funding to support a total of 853 family businesses and companies from the creative industries and crafts. The total amount of investments in their development under the procedure from the "Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises" Programme has already reached nearly 194 million BGN.

So far, 1093 companies have been proposed for funding under this measure, and with the new funds, their number will increase to nearly 2000, including all approved companies in the field of crafts. Depending on their type and size, the companies will receive between 15,000 BGN and 150,000 BGN to purchase machines, facilities, equipment, tools, and specialized software.

There is a provision for the introduction of ICT systems or modules to improve management, production, and logistics processes. Companies will also be able to create online stores to improve their market performance and increase their sales.

In the coming days, the Ministry of Innovation and Growth (SARD) will open procedures for applying to increase the levels of digitalization and energy efficiency in companies. The total budget for these measures will be 206 million BGN.
