The Ministry of Agriculture has defined financial support for forest ecosystems

Experts from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food conducted a detailed analysis and officially announced the amount of financial support for farmers who maintain and improve the ecological condition of forest areas.

Through a special order issued and personally signed by Minister Dr. Georgi Takhov, the specific monetary rate for 2024 was fixed. The subsidy amount is exactly 420.50 leva for each eligible hectare that meets strictly defined environmental sustainability criteria.

The economic mechanism aims to directly stimulate activities related to maintaining and improving biodiversity in forest ecosystems. The financial intervention represents targeted support for owners and managing organizations that actively care for environmental conservation.
