Construction activities for the modernization of the transport hub near the "Mirage" hotel are entering an active phase. The municipal authorities have announced a large-scale intervention that will change traffic in the central city area during the second week of December.
Experts from the "Urban Infrastructure" department reported that the installation of pedestrian overpasses will officially start on December 12. The planned construction activities will cover two main boulevards - "Stefan Stambolov" and "Nikola Petkov", affecting the section from "Trakia" street to the roundabout.
The temporary traffic organization will be in effect from December 12 to 22 inclusive. Drivers are urged to show increased attention and follow the instructions of road signs and traffic regulators along the route.
The key infrastructure project will improve pedestrian safety and optimize traffic in this busy urban area. According to the initial calculations of the technical team, the new overpasses will provide safer and more convenient movement for the city's residents and visitors.
Local authorities recommend that citizens plan their routes in advance and expect possible traffic delays during construction activities. Alternative routes will be marked with temporary road signage.
