Large-scale repair of 19 km of Road II-66 started this week

Preventive repair work on a section 19 kilometers long will officially start on July 3, 2025. The activities will cover a road section from the 39th to the 58th kilometer of route II-66, connecting Stara Zagora and Podslон village.

Construction interventions will be carried out extremely precisely - work will take place only during the daylight hours, in the time range between 8 and 20 hours. Specialists will work step by step, occupying only half of the roadway, which ensures continuous movement of vehicles.

The road maintenance company responsible for restoration activities will signal work areas with the necessary road signs. The institution urgently appeals to drivers to show maximum attention, follow speed limits, and strictly follow the placed road instructions.

The management of the Road Infrastructure Agency apologizes in advance for possible inconveniences, emphasizing that the repair is extremely necessary to ensure the safety of travelers.

The planned restoration activities are scheduled to be completed in October 2026, with the goal of comprehensive improvement of road infrastructure in the region.
