The Trakia Motorway with traffic restrictions for mowing vegetation

On June 25, from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m., traffic on the Trakia Motorway between km 69 and km 78 in the direction of Sofia will be restricted. The passing in the overtaking lane will be gradually restricted, while the active lane remains open for traffic. The change in the organization of traffic is related to the need for mowing vegetation in the central dividing strip of the motorway. Vegetation removal along the embankments will also be carried out, with the emergency lane being restricted in certain sections.

The Road Infrastructure Agency calls on drivers to drive carefully, to comply with traffic rules and speed limits, not to undertake risky overtakings, and not to use the emergency lanes for faster movement in heavy traffic. This is important to ensure the safety of all travelers and not to obstruct the passage of vehicles with a special traffic regime in case of an incident.
