Master Dora Bareva celebrates three significant anniversaries with a grand concert spectacle

On May 23, 2025, a grand concert spectacle titled "Testament from the Cosmos" will be held at the NHK Cultural Center, where Maestro Dora Bareva will celebrate three important milestones in her career. The renowned choreographer is celebrating her 70th birthday, 50 years of creative work, and 20 years since the establishment of the "Veleka" Dance Ensemble - Burgas, which she leads.

The concert program will feature numerous vocal ensembles, Bulgarian folk dance clubs, and individual performers. Among them are the Professional Folklore Ensemble "Strandzha" with choreographer Mario Egov, the Folklore Dance Ensemble "Nikola Ginov" with choreographer Dimitar Ginov, the Folklore Ensemble "Atanas Manchev" with choreographer Dimitar Tonev, the Dance Club "Chayka" Pomorie-Burgas with leaders Lilyana Hristova and Vilyana Dacheva, the Vocal Quartet "Bulgarka junior" with participants Hristina Atanasova, Fanka Koinarova, Elena Bedeleva and Yuliya Gadberova, as well as the Stovreви sisters and Stoyko Vasilev.

Dora Bareva is an exceptionally respected choreographer with a rich creative biography. She is the director and founder of the "Veleka" Dance Ensemble and the "Veleka Fest" festival, which provides opportunities for young talents to showcase their skills. The Maestro is also a member of the UNESCO Dance Council.
