Fuel deliveries from Lukoil's Burgas refinery continue without issues, according to an on-site check. Last week's restrictions have been lifted. Drivers confirm normal operations.

The cases surrounding "Lukoil" do not seem to be affecting the rhythm of fuel deliveries from the key refinery in Burgas for now. This is a finding from an on-site inspection conducted by our reporters. Our team confirmed this by observing the point from which the tankers gain access to the plant for subsequent transportation of fuels.

A week ago, according to information from the site, access to the refinery was limited. Heavy goods vehicles were waiting for hours in a special buffer parking lot.

Today, however, the picture was different. There were no queues. Drivers, with whom our team spoke, confirmed that the problem was short-lived – only for one day. For almost a week, the tankers have been entering without delay, loading and leaving the site, everything is going smoothly. Despite this normal situation, strict control over access to the refinery remains in force. Several teams of the Gendarmerie continue to be on duty at the entrances.

Atanas, a fuel tanker driver, shared with our team: "As always – everything is normal."

When asked by our BNT reporter whether the work is more or less, he replied: "I don't know."

When asked whether the topic is being discussed, the driver replied: "It is being discussed, but I am not the person who should comment on it."

When asked if the cases affect his work, Atanas replied: "Not for now."

When asked if more Bulgarians or foreigners refuel, Atanas said: "There are no foreigners, we are Bulgarians."
