Volleyball powerhouse Levski Sofia has begun its summer preparation with ambitious plans for the upcoming season. The capital city club, which triumphed with a double crown in the past campaign, winning both the championship title and the Bulgarian Cup in men's volleyball, has returned to the court with a clear goal to defend its trophies.

The preparation of the "Blues" started without some of the key players, who are currently engaged with the national team at the World Championship. They are expected to join the team immediately after the international tournament concludes, which will give an additional boost to the preparation.

One of the highlights in Levski's pre-season preparation is the anticipated arrival of new signing Julian Weisig. The German volleyball player, known for his attacking skills, is expected to add a new dimension to the team's game and strengthen the squad for the challenges in the upcoming season.
