Burgas Mayor Activates BG-ALERT Due to Flooding in the Villages of Izvor, Varshilo, Zidarovo and Gabar

Flooding in the Burgas area: Roads closed, high water levels, and recommendations for residents. Burgas Municipality and Border Police on site.

The mayor of Burgas activated the BG-ALERT system due to the overflowing of the rivers Fakijska and Hur dere in the villages of Izvor, Varshilo, Zidarovo and Gabar. The road to these villages is closed.

The water level on the bridge to the village of Izvor is 5 meters.

Residents are advised to use the road through the village of Dimchevo.

You may also like

So far, 85 liters of rain have fallen per square meter. Teams from Burgas Municipality and Border Police are on site.
