The 23-year-old Canadian Gabriel Diallo won his first professional title on grass, defeating Belgian Zizou Bergs 7-5, 7-6 at the Libema Open in the Netherlands. This is a remarkable achievement, making Diallo the fourth Canadian man with an ATP title this century and the first on grass courts.

On June 15, 2025, in 's-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands, the Canadian tennis player Gabriel Diallo (23 years old) won his first ATP title on grass, defeating Zizou Bergs from Belgium with a score of 7-5, 7-6(8). This achievement makes him the fourth Canadian man with an ATP tournament title in this century and the first to triumph on a grass court. On his way to the final, Diallo eliminated several seeded players, including Jordan Thompson, Karen Khachanov, and Hugo Humbert. This breakthrough also secures his entry into the top 50 of the world rankings.

The success of Gabriel Diallo is a clear proof of the rapid development of Canadian tennis and establishes the new generation of players ready to compete in the most prestigious grass court tournaments.
